A good annual report should achieve multiple goals. In rank order those are:

1. Attracts new and continued interest in supporting your work

2. Reassures donors that their investment made real impact

3. Recognizes donors for their generosity

4. Reports on the financial state of the organization

At Mission Minded we believe that the best way to achieve all of these goals is to use compelling storytelling in a narrative style that draws the reader in and creates an emotional connection.

We use facts, figures, and details as the backdrop that “makes the case.” Photos and stories should comprise the majority of the content, financials and donor lists should constitute the minority.
